[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]Arcadia Foundation is a foundation of private origin, a nonprofit organization that pursues social interest through a careful program of investments and projects in its area of operation: the Swiss Confederation and Canton Ticino.

History and Mission

The story of Arcadia Foundation begins in November 2020.

Arcadia Foundation, like all other public interest foundations, is subject to the control and supervision of the Eastern Swiss Authorities, which verifies its compliance with the law and statutes, sound and prudent management, profitability of assets and effective protection of the interests contemplated in the statutes (Art. 1 and 2, RL 852.165 DPV).

The Foundation today, by collecting donations from various Art Collectors and Philanthropists worldwide, pursues its statutory purposes by operating in Switzerland with special focus on Canton Ticino, employing the proceeds of its assets through which it implements and finances projects.

To achieve its mission, the Foundation operates through various types of grant-making instruments, including direct projects, thematic calls and instrumental subjects, or by making ordinary grants for third-party projects that have objectives converging with its statutory and programmatic goals.

There are 4 areas of intervention in which the Arcadia Foundation operates: the promotion of culture and art along with the preservation and enhancement of cultural heritage; landscape and environmental protection; scientific research and technological innovations in the arts; and the growth and training of young artists.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
